To go with my red sequined dress for for our Samba Carnival Salsa Party I came up with this red sequin and glitter Nail Art creation for this week.
The song that we performed to, was called La Diabla, by Romeo Santos, so I thought that 'Hellfire Flames' would be appropriate as my Nail Art for the occasion 😉
I saw something similar to this polka dot nail art look a while back and though that it looked really cute, so I decided to do my own version of it this week 😉
Working nail by nail, apply a coat of clear nail polish to your nail, and then dip your nail directly into the glitter pot so that the whole nail is covered by the glitter. Then carefully wipe the excess off from around your nail.
This was actually my first Valentines Day Nail Art look that I did for Feb.. It was for an article that I did for BeautyBulletin.com
I filed my nails into the more pointed Almond Shape (for the first time ever) and painted red hearts onto my tips, using the sharp point of my almond shaped nails as the sharp point of the heart.
This look is quite fun, and I think the key is to keep it simple. The pink & the red lipsticks that I used appear quite similar once on my lips, with just that subtle little difference to make things interesting.
The only downfall about this look on your nails, is that if you're a sweet tooth like me 😉 you'll constantly be tempted to take a lick of your yummy-licious nails, and as much as it looks like candy cane - it really doesn't taste like candy cane... lol
